We always hope the speakers will come for the whole time to join in all the discussion . Also\, partners are welcome. \nThere鈥檚 one more talk in the afternoon followed by dinner at 6.30. Some people go off to the Badger pub in the evening. It is always very relaxed. We leave after lunch on the 3rd day. \nAs always\, the main approach is based on compassion in healthcare. Most Delegates book accommodation in the hall but there is also space in the grounds for camping enthusiasts as well as the option of glamping. You will mingle with a wide range of people including pain specialists\, physios\, GPs\, nurses\, psychologists\, anesthetists as well as people who may have lived experience of pain. Most people come away with new ideas and viewpoints as well as feeling relaxed and replenished. \nDelegates arrive on Sunday 29th June in time for the evening meal. The talks commence on Monday morning. \nFor more information about the British Pain Society Philosophy & Ethics Special Interest Group please visit the BPS website: https://www.britishpainsociety.org/philosophy-ethics-special-interest-group/ \nLearn More URL:/event/british-pain-society-philosophy-and-ethics-sig-summer-retreat/ ATTACH;FMTTYPE=image/png:/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/BPS-Philo-and-Ethics-2025.png END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
